WOMEN?S COLLECTIVE IRELAND (WCI) ARE RECRUITING A FULL-TIME
COORDINATOR TO WORK IN WOMEN?S COMMUNITY PROJECTS MULLINGAR (**APPLY

Women?s Collective Ireland (WCI) is a national women?s community
development organisation advancing marginalised women?s equality
through women?s community development. WCI represents and works
directly with women experiencing disadvantage, through our staff in

National structures. Our work on the ground is central and fundamental
and shapes all our collective actions.

WCI invites applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and
self-motivated individuals for the position of Coordinator based in
Women?s Community Development Projects Mullingar. Employed by the
WCI Board of Management, the Coordinator will work in partnership with
the Board of Women?s Community Projects Mullingar (WCPM) CLG, to
coordinate the day to day running, management and development of
Women?s Community Projects Mullingar. The coordinator will implement
the aims, objectives and agreed areas of work outlined in the
Strategic Plan in line with WCI National Work Plans.

This is an opportunity to lead the team working in this
long-established feminist community development project that supports
women?s equality.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

* A relevant third level qualification or equivalent
* A minimum of 3 years? experience in community development
coordination which includes working with women's groups and related
issues.
* Strong staff management experience
* Experience of collaborating with diverse stakeholders and relating
to diverse groups and individuals including conflict management
* An understanding of grassroots feminism and the ability to use a
community development approach, be a reflective practitioner and to
operate from feminist principles
* Excellent communication, coordination and report writing skills
* The ability to maintain the ethos of WCI and WCPM across staff,
participants, Boards of Management, and volunteers.
* Own transport essential
